Lately, I’ve seen Oppenheimer and Barbie. And what can I say?
Absolutely different genres and semantic loads. I’ve seen all of Nolan's films and that one was a masterpiece as usual.I think science fiction is really popular right now and the cinema was crowded by fans of Inception and Dunkirk. I was tired after work but these 3 hours went by in one hour or less. Recommend it for 100%.
What about Barbie, I wasn’t sure whether to go or not. But I went to this film even in a pink t-shirt and I wore it without any pressure from my girlfriend’s side. I’m not a fan of Margo Robbie or Ryan Gosling, I’m not 16 anymore.
And, what do you think? It was the longest 2 hours that week. I didn’t like it at all. And a couple weeks after I understood why I went voluntarily. It was all advertising you know. They tried to put Barbie everywhere they could advertise it and not only on television. And like you’re reading online or watching on TV whether you want or not. It’s a powerful psychological influence that we consume every day. I understood that sometimes you shouldn’t follow it but sometimes it can be something really cool and worth coming after.
