What is a Private Cloud? |

Unlike public cloud services that provide services to several organizations or to many users. Cloud private focuses more on services provided to individual institutions or single organizations. Private cloud services are usually used by only one organization and ensure that the service is completely isolated from other organizations. Companies or organizations often use this service with a monthly rental system. Private clouds are often also modified to suit the needs of a company or organization. Private clouds are usually only used by official institutions such as government agencies and some companies that require protection of data that is considered important and valuable. How Private Cloud WorksIn practice, private cloud services are a single tenant environment, which means that organizations or companies that use private cloud services do not share these services with other organizations or tenants. The resources of these services can be hosted and managed in a variety of ways. Private cloud services may have existing resources and infrastructure in the organization's Data Center or on new infrastructure provided by third parties. In some cases the single tenant environment is enabled using only virtualization software. Whereas in other cases, the private cloud and its resources are provided for only one user or one user only. Private clouds rely on several technologies to work properly. Understanding how virtualization works is the best way for a private cloud to work smoothly. Private cloud uses virtualization technology to combine resources sourced from physical hardware into multiple data sets. This way the cloud doesn't have to create an environment by virtualizing resources from a set of different physical systems. This IT process can take all these resources from one source like a data supermarket. Adding multiple layers of management software provides administrative control over the infrastructure, platforms, applications, and data that will be deployed in the cloud by helping cloud admins track and optimize usage, monitor integration points, and store or recover data. When the final automation layer is added to replace or reduce the instructions performed by humans or users of the cloud service, the self-service component of the cloud is completed and the combination of these technologies is now a collection of private cloud systems. Advantages of Using Private CloudThe main benefits obtained by an organization by running a private cloud system are flexibility, guaranteed availability of resources, high data security, accuracy in settings and in some cases including companies can also make cost savings easily. Several other benefits of cloud computing technology are obtained from the use of virtualization technology which is the basis of all cloud computing technologies currently used. Most of the servers are underutilized and virtualization technology provides convenience for private cloud users with better resource utilization, as workloads can be applied to different physical servers as resource demands change. One of the reasons why this can be realized is the flexibility supported by virtualization technology. This technology allows multiple applications and even operating systems to operate on the same physical machine. In addition, if the application's resource requirements change, the resources dedicated to the particular virtual server running the application can be adapted to the previously changed application.
