Renovating the Home of the Founders Parkway The Founders Parkway is one of the most popular areas in Las Vegas. It is located in between Southwestern Las Vegas and the Paris Las Vegas Boulevard, it's a quick drive to the world famous Las Vegas Strip. It's home of stunning scenery, but it is not only the Strip. There are many beautiful landscaping options along the Parkway which includes a pathway comprised of planks of wood and paved paths that lead to Castle Rock. One of the most interesting aspects of the layout of the paving along the Founders Parkway is that of its appearance in relation to other public works of a similar nature in Las Vegas. The entrance of the parkway is a stone bench which is located between two pillars of stone. However, unlike the other Las Vegas parksways, the rectangular design of this bench is more common as opposed to the typical round design. Along the edges of the stone bench the concrete has been used in various interesting patterns. Concrete patios are comprised of six different types of concrete. Concrete tabs are among the concrete pavers that are part of the design. The concrete tabs are similar to the concrete patios you see in Las Vegas. The concrete that is used to design the Castle Rock section of the patio is colored to help to blend into the surrounding environment. The concrete, however, isn't overpowering to enhance the natural beauty of the region. The remaining three concrete segments of the design are formed out of large rock forms. Each of these massive rock forms are colored to help the rocks stand out from the concrete. To differentiate this section from the concrete around the parkway, the concrete used here is red. There are eleven colors in total for the concrete designs of the project. The architects have created a Parkway that is completely distinct from the other areas of the development because of the variety of shades. The replacement of concrete ramps and concrete sidewalks at the ground with granite pavers was a major improvement to the construction of Castle Rock's portion of Las Vegas Strip. These pavers made of granite have distinctive color patterns that blends in well with the surrounding area. Alongside providing aesthetic appeal as well, it makes it more comfortable to walk on and makes the driveway more smooth feel when it rains. Another modification to the layout of the Las Vegas Strip comes in the design of covered walkways. The walkway covers the beach's exposed roots and blocks people from walking across them. The design allows rainwater from the ground to flow into the sea, helping reduce erosion. The walkway made of concrete is buried in the ground so it is not necessary to seal the concrete. Instead, the pavers are covered by a special, waterproof material that is heat and slip resistant. Castle Rock offers a great climate to live in. It has a semi-tropical climate with mild winters and warm summers. The soil is sandy and is perfect for planting flowers. There are many varieties of plants available, including evergreens, plants, as well as desert flower. In addition, the Strip's southern exposure ensures that the area is cooler than other parts of the city. The stone picnic area located at the eastern end of driveway offers residents a view of the Strip as well as a place to enjoy peace and relaxation. It is possible to take a break from the bustle and noise of the floor and relax on the bench made of stone. The bench is practical and visually appealing due to its stone construction. The stones make the outside to life when you relax on the deck and enjoy lunch.
