1. Arousing curiosity and discovery in children. Science is not the sublime and macro things, but the things and phenomena surrounding the main human's life. If preschool children are exposed to science early, it will help them develop comprehensively in the future.
Right from the preschool age, giving children access to science and scientific experiments will create very good conditions for children to form a pure soul, kindness, love for family and nature.
Science arouses curiosity and discovery in children. At the age of preschool children, they certainly will not stand outside "watch and listen", have adults follow or tell what to do. Parents let children discover on their own rather than be taught, because automatically the brain thinks will make children leave a deeper impression, voluntarily initiate doing what they like.
2. Children have an environment to develop skills. Learning through science experiments for children, of course, will not have formulas or theories. It's all about learning through questioning, hands-on experiments, and interactions. There are many skills children can learn through scientific experience such as: skills of observation, comparison, classification, problem solving, teamwork, communication,...
During experiential learning, children's senses also develop. Recent studies show that children who learn through multiple senses have better cognitive abilities and ability to react to situations. Thanks to practical, hands-on activities, children's skills become more skillful and proficient over time.
Exploring science for children is a way to learn thinking. In science activities, children learn how to observe, analyze and draw conclusions in the form of inductive or deductive thinking.
