OET (Occupational English Test) is an international English language. The purpose of this test is to assess the English Language communication capabilities of healthcare professionals who want to work or practice their profession in English-speaking countries. OET test is owned by Cambridge Boxill Language Assessment (CBLA), a venture between Cambridge Assessment English and Box Hill Institute, Australia. OET is specifically designed to assess the English language and clinical communication skills of health professionals so that they can provide high-quality and safe patient care. OET test has four modules Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking.
There are various countries in the world which accept the OET test. These countries include the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Dubai, Namibia, Singapore, and Ukraine. OET test is also recognized by Australia and New Zealand for visa and immigration purposes.
OET test is available in 40 countries including Pakistan. Health care professionals can appear in OET test in Pakistan through AEO Pakistan.
