WordPress is another online resource used to “blog” or create and manage content. However here are the key points that I think seperates wordpress from other online tools:
-
It provides great flexibility.
-
A lot of people use it for writing blogs. So that gives you a lot of audience who can provide constructive criticism that may help you improve your writing skill and quality.
-
The WordPress community is huge. So the chances of finding the right kind of audience for your writing is more than any other online resources.
-
Whether you need to learn WordPress or not is up to you. If you want to write a blog but could not decide which is the best place to share your story WordPress may be your best option.
Also a lot of freelancers I know make a lot of money by making WordPress theams and templates.
So whether you need to learn WordPress or not depends what you want to do with it. What are your goals what you want to achieve by learning WordPress.
